The most experienced news team in the market premieres a 90 minute newscast.

WKBN begins it’s new 5:30 PM newscast this week, giving viewers a 90 minute block of the best live, local news every weeknight. Also, both Dave Sess and Stan Boney are making big moves on September 21st. They will be teammates now on WKBN. Dave will anchor from 5:00-6:30 PM with Erika Thomas. Stan will anchor the highly-­rated 10:00 PM newscast on FOX Youngstown and the 11:00 PM news on WKBN with Erika.

Coming off a July Sweeps period where WKBN had the most-watched news at noon, 6:00 PM, and 11:00 PM, we are excited that these changes will make our newscasts even stronger!
